Clothesline Project April 15th-17th Gateway Plaza Visit this art installation which showcases t-shirts designed by survivors of violence and others who have been impacted by perpetrated violence. This project provides healing for survivors of violence while also educating the public on violence prevention.
Take Back the Night 2019 April 17th 7:00 pm -1am UCI Flag Poles This annual, campus-wide event will have a candlelight march, art installations, performances, and speakers all in relation to educating the community on sexual violence. For more information please visit bit.ly/ucitbtn
"Me too" Founder Taran Burke

Denim Day
April 24th
Wear jeans on this day to protest the overturned rape conviction the Italian Supreme Court made in 1999. The Italian Supreme Court overturned the rape conviction by arguing that removing tight jeans requires assistance and implied consent. Women in the Italian Parliament protested the conviction by wearing jeans in front of the Supreme Court.
